Mervyn Finlay, Thorburn & Marshall Solicitors originated in the early years of the twentieth century.

We are a 3 partner firm. Our partners are Angus Bartley Cameron Thorburn (“Angus”), Diana Leslie Thorburn (“Diana”) and Marion Isabelle Thorburn (“Marion”) who together with employed Solicitor Cameron Daniel Thorburn (“Cameron”) have over a century of experience in a wide area of legal practice.

We are respectively 4^th and 5^th generation practising solicitors and understandably take pride in having amongst our clients succeeding generations of our earliest clients and of offering to all clients stability and sensible advice in a time of constant change.

In 1993 as an exercise in synergy we merged with Maddocks Cohen and Maguire a venerable firm that had its origins in the last decade of the nineteenth century. It was a seamless merger and coincided with our move to our own premises. Windeyer Chambers Level 2, 225 Macquarie Street Sydney.
